St. Croix 5 Mile Coral Reef Swim

Race Distance:    5 Miles

 

Location:               St Croix U.S.V.I.

 

Course:                   Swim from the shores of Buck Island, “one of the world’s top ten

                                   beaches” (National Geographic) through 2 miles of crystal clear

                                   water before reaching the coastline of St. Croix. The swim         

                                   continues through colorful reefs and sandy bottoms along the      

                                   shore before finishing at the main beach of St. Croix’s premiere  

                                   destination resort, The Buccaneer.

 

Entry Fee:             $75.00 per swimmer which includes: Welcome Dinner, Awards

                                   Barbecue, tee-shirt, swim cap. The entry fee for on island (St Croix    

                                   Residents) in the JR Division is $35.00, dinner not included.

                                   Taxi fee of $4.00 will be collected at registration/check in.

Race Start:           7:00 am from Buck Island. Boat transportation provided.

 

Check in:            Registration and tee-shirt pickup will be held Saturday October

                                   27^th 2001 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at The Buccaneer’s Beach Meeting

                                   Room.

                                    

Course Meeting: Saturday October 27th, 2001 from 4:30-5:30 pm at The

                                   Buccaneer’s Terrace Restaurant.

 

Welcome Dinner: Saturday October 27^th, 2001 from 6:00 PM The Buccaneer’s

                                   Terrace Restaurant.

of receipt for proper accounting for the available discount seats. Keep in
mind
that it may take them some processing time for them to fax back to you
the confirm that your card has been charged and you are ticketed.

Here are the fares to St Croix. They are valid for you and your
companion(s) when traveling for the swim. Remember that the applicable taxes
will be ADDED:

Here are the instructions to purchase, you must
follow them EXACTLY:

1. Mail you race entry in. Remember the event has an entry limit
as well as the limited number of discounted seats. A spot in the event
does not automatically give you a discounted airline ticket and likewise a
discounted
airline ticket does not give you a spot in the event. When you have mailed
your entry
form and taken care of your travel arraignments please email
randy@thevictor.com
the following: your name; travel companion(s) if any; dates of travel to and
from St Croix;
and your hotel/lodging arraignments.

2. Call American at 800-237-7981 and book in coach class "O" inventory ONLY under Starfile CRB PROMO.

 

3. Get a RECORD LOCATOR NUMBER from American
make a note of this number. You will need only one record locator number
for yourself and your companion(s) if any.

4. Fax the following info to American Airlines:

Record Locator #
Names of traveling companion(s).
Your credit card number and expiration date
Please mention that you would like to receive
back a faxed confirmation.

You should then receive a fax back from American Airlines -which may take a week! -
showing a receipt of your eTicket and that your card has been charged and that you
are confirmed. If the ticket is hard copy then the hard copy tickets will be mailed to you.
If the special discount seats are sold out
American will then advise you of the lowest available
fare and fax you said fare for approval.
