Location: St Croix U.S.V.I.
Course: Swim from the shores of Buck Island, “one of the
world’s top ten
beaches”
(National Geographic) through 2 miles of crystal clear
water
before reaching the coastline of St. Croix. The swim
continues
through colorful reefs and sandy
bottoms along the
shore
before finishing at the main beach of St. Croix’s premiere
destination
resort, The Buccaneer.
Entry Fee: $75.00 per swimmer which includes: Welcome Dinner,
Awards
Barbecue,
tee-shirt, swim cap. The entry fee for on island (St Croix
Residents)
in the JR Division is $35.00, dinner not included.
Taxi
fee of $4.00 will be collected at registration/check in.

Times
and event schedules are subject to change. It is your responsibility to check
in at
The
Buccaneer upon arrival in St Croix for any last minute changes. It is also
mandatory that you attend all of the event meetings.
The
Event Director, Randy Nutt will attempt to notify those on his email list of any
changes, however it is very important to check in at The Buccaneer. To join
this email list simply email randy@thevictor.com and request to be added.

Support boats are provided along with
several water stops. A group of
kayakers under the direction of Peter Brown (Email: pbrown@hovensa.com) will also be used for safety.
Water temperature is expected to be between
78 and 81 degrees F. Wetsuits are not allowed.
We
recommend a race course tour, and/or snorkeling trip to Buck Island prior to
the event. To arrange a trip or for other watersport activities contact Mile Mark Watersports at: 800-523-DIVE

become available as we get closer to the event.

to the nature and complexity of this event there will be no refunds for any
reason including event cancellation.
